Geminis are the social butterflies of the zodiac wheel and are remarkably noncommittal. They are talkative, get bored quickly, and their curiosity leads them to different people and places.

However, based on the students’ zodiac signs, they may master certain spells and fail at others. Here is a list of spells and charms that Geminis would either master or struggle with.

Would Master: Obliviate

Geminis are known manipulators, and they tend to stretch the truth. They would excel at a charm through which they can incept a false memory into the target's mind, especially when the target doesn't realize that the memory is not theirs.

Hermione used this charm in Deathly Hallows 2 to make her parents believe that they were someone else to save them from Voldemort and the Death Eaters.

Would Struggle With: Depulso

Geminis are the talkative ones, and they love to be surrounded by interesting people. Depulso is the banishing charm that propels the target away from the caster. It is definitely not a charm Geminis would have any interest in learning.

The charm can send a target to a particular location and it works on both living and inanimate things. Snape used this charm on Dolores Umbridge.

This is a spell that reveals a human presence in the surroundings of the caster. Geminis are social people who love human presence. If there is a human around, they will find him and communicate with them, so this spell would come naturally to them.

Hermione used this spell at 12 Grimmauld Place to reveal the presence of Death Eaters. Dumbledore also used this spell to reveal Harry and Ron's presence under the invisibility cloak.

Would Struggle With: Expecto Patronum

The Patronus Charm is a powerful and advanced defensive charm in the wizarding world. This charm will invoke a spirit guardian that can protect against dark beings. The charm is complicated and requires constant practice, but Geminis quit things very easily, as they get bored too quickly.

It would be difficult for Geminis to master the spell. Remus Lupin taught this charm to Harry, who later taught it to Dumbledore's Army. It remains the only charm that is effective against Dementors.

Would Master: Ventus

With the use of the Ventus spell, a caster can project a jet of strong swirling wind from the wand's tip. Geminis, being the air sign, would be able to master this spell.

Geminis can use this spell to blow away objects or people. On the other hand, being sociable, they can use this spell to trap people from leaving, due to the aggressive speed of the wind.

Would Struggle With: Unbreakable Vow

The Unbreakable Vow is a spell in which two wizards make an oath to one another, and if the oath is broken, the breaker dies. Gemini is not the best zodiac sign when it comes to making and keeping promises and tend to doubt themselves and fail to prioritize their commitments.

This makes everyone question the loyalty of Geminis. Snape made this unbreakable oath with Narcissa Malfoy to protect Draco Malfoy.

Would Master: Unsupported Flight

Geminis can be truly innovative when inspired. They have all kinds of information with their sheer amount of exposure. The Unsupported Flight spell lets the caster fly without making use of any form of support.

Being lifelong learners, Geminis would excel at this spell. Tom Riddle was able to perform this spell, while many others in the past failed. Snape used this spell to escape Hogwarts before the Battle of Hogwarts.

Would Struggle With: Langlock

Langlock is a spell that causes the target's tongue to stick to the roof of the mouth, preventing the target from speaking. Geminis are communicators and love to talk to anyone and about anything.

They would never want the other party to be silent, as then they won't have anyone to share their thoughts with. Harry used this spell on Peeves and Argus Filch.

Would Master: Pack Charm

Geminis are procrastinators and keep putting things off. They generally do so when they don't want to deal with it. If a Gemini was told that there exists a charm that they can use to take care of their packing, they would master the charm and never forget it for the rest of their lives.

Nymphadora Tonks used this charm to help Harry with his school trunk.

Would Struggle With: Legilimency

This is a spell that lets the caster dig into the target's mind and see their thoughts, feelings, and memories. The spell requires advanced skills and constant practice, something the easily-bored Geminis cannot do.

Snape used this spell on Harry twice.
